Wismar University is an advanced and innovative education and research institution with over 100-years of academic excellence. It is an international university that is practice and business oriented with over 8,500 students studying both on-campus and through online or part time.
WINGS - Wismar International Graduation Services Company founded in 2004 - offers extra-occupational online and part time programmes as well as certified further education for working professionals. Its subject areas include business, technology and design with a state college of further education certificate. With around 4,500 part time students and 650 further education participants at ten locations around the country as well as Berlin and Munich, WINGS is one of the leading state distance-learning providers in Germany. WINGS is now also offering international part time studies for professionals at study centres in Cape Town, Bangkok, Singapore and Surabaya.
Due to several contacts in Europe, the Baltic region, America, Latin America, Asia and in particular South-East-Asia, a variety of intercultural characteristics can be distinctively found in our research and teaching methods. Currently there are students from all over the world participating in our part time studies for professionals.
WINGS – Wismar International Graduation Services GmbH – a subsidiary company of Wismar University – University of Applied Sciences (Germany) that offers part-time studies and certifies further education for working professionals. The Study Programmes are offered in the fields of economy, technology and design through which you can gain a higher public education degree such as a Bachelor, Diploma (FH) or Master. The professional study centre at Wismar University was founded in 1952. WINGS was built upon this and was set up in April 2004. The primary tasks of WINGS are to develop, organise and market distance learning and further educational programmes under the academic expertise of Wismar University of Applied Sciences. Wismar University is an advanced and innovative education and research institution looking back to over 100-years of academic excellence. It is an International University that is practice and business oriented with over 8,800 students studying both on-campus and through distance learning. Every distance learning student is enrolled as a regular student at Wismar University and is extensively and individually supported by WINGS based on his/ her particular needs. This strengthens our concept of optimising the students’ needs to work in their profession whilst studying and combines the following 4 components: self-study, seminars over selected weekends during the semester, telephone conferences and access to the online learning platform. Currently we have students from all over the world who are participating in our distance learning programmes. With more than 4,500 students, WINGS has become one of the
